Description: Silent Tears is the story of a 10 year old Muslim, Afghani girl Tamana and her 16 year old brother Ali. It chronicles the traumatic experience of being helplessly sold to Arabs as only children. Tamana blames Islam for all of her childhood and adulthood problems and is troubled by its tenents and wants to make a change. She wants to convert her religion. Silent Tears was written and produced by Nabela Khair and directed by Nawid Orokzai. Cinematography by Justin and Ian McAleece. Sound by Zack Allen. Edited by Justin McAleece.
